Something Fun...

There is this small wall in our kitchen between our garage door and our laundry room door. I thought of maybe hanging some plates on this wall but I found this instead..

I think this big spoon is so much fun! My son, Ben walked into the kitchen and wanted to know why we have a big spoon hanging on our wall. Because it's fun I told him. He then wanted to know where the fork was. There was a fork to go with the spoon of course, I just didn't buy it.

It's been a rainy and lazy day here. So lazy that my boys are still in their jammies and it is now almost 3:00 in the afternoon. Days like this are good though. It's been a busy few weeks for us, so a day like today is just what we needed.

Sam and Ben have been busy working on this project...

Sam could spend hours building with Legos. Not only does he enjoy building with Legos, he also finds great delight in organizing them. I wonder where he gets that from? I know this doesn't look organized right now, but I guarantee Sam knows every Lego that is there on the floor.

Ben was doing a little building himself...

After I took this picture, Sam informed me that Ben's only contribution to the airplane was the three pieces he found. He sure looks cute though!

I'll be sure to show the finished project.

Well, I'm off to be lazy!

  1. Hello...lazy days are good for the soul...good time to reflect and relax. My son adores legos too. Him and a friend can spend hours creating. He has been slowly collecting some of the Indiana Jones ones. I wish they weren't so spendy but they are a clssic. Love your spoon and it just pops against the gorgeous red. Happy Tuesday girl! cherry

  4. omg!! My mom had a spoon and fork JUST LIKE THAT hanging in our dining room when I was a kid. That is so cool. I am going to have to call her and ask her where that stuff is.

  6. I've got two giant spoons and forks. They're not as fancy as yours, though. And I haven't found a home for them yet, but I couldn't pass them up---because they are FUN!
