Here is one for you...
This is Anabelle. She is a four-year old West Highland White Terrier. Let's just say she wasn't having a bad hair day... she's been have a bad hair week...
Sam and I decided it was long past time to pretty her up.
After a nice bath and haircut...
And just like any other woman (or dog) she has a whole new outlook on life now that she is feeling pretty!
I also want to thank all of you for your sweet comments. Don't forget that if you end up doing a 5 minute project to please let me know about it. I would love to see it!
Have a wonderful Friday!
Anabelle is just simply adorable!! My husband has talked before about getting a West Highland White Terrier and yours is just cute, cute! I always think my poodles are too cute when they come from the groomers all clipped, fresh & clean with their toenails painted and bows in their hair.
ReplyDeleteAnabelle is the cutest! Just so you know, even though I didn't do "your" five minute project, you inspired me to do one of my own :) I had my two chairs from the breakfast bar sitting out in the garage for months because the seats needed covered. I thought of your creativty and a bit of Scarlet O'Hara as I took down my kitchen curtains (I left up the valance) and used the fabric to cover the seats! Best thing, is now the seat covers match the valance and thus pulls the whole look together! I know that you are amazed ...I also saved gas, so I should get points for that.
ReplyDeleteShe's a cutie! Fun pictures!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,
Genny
She is too cute! I have a big floppy dog who currently can't see through the mop on his head...makes me want to "pretty him up" too!

ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, how cute is she? I love the little faces of dogs, its so sweet that you can see hers now! :)
ReplyDeleteChristy--I meant to tell you, I was looking through your blog and found your recipe for sloppy joes. We made them the other night---yum!! My husband was so happy and my daughter loved them too (and she's only two, so that's a big deal!). Thanks for such a great recipe and let me know if you enjoy the banana bread!

Anabelle is a beautiful girl! We have two spaniels. They are handsome boys and look very dashing after a bath, but, five minutes later, they still have that stinky spaniel smell. (Or, maybe it's just a stinky boy smell ...) :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your encouraging comment this morning!
I just love before and afters. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love Anabelle!! Isn't she precious!!! WOW! Big difference! I think that is the WHITEST dog I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute. My Stella also has those bad hair days, but nothing a little haircut and shampoo won't solve. Have a great weekend. jackie
ReplyDeleteHow cute. I remember when my parents would take our dog to get her groomed, she would just prance around after. I loved how it made her feel so pretty. It's funny to think that dogs care about their looks.
ReplyDeleteOh, she's so cute! We're thinking about getting a dog - I just love them, but we don't know how our kitty will adjust... :)
ReplyDeleteShe's sweet! :) :)
