Jesus Calling

Hold My Hand, and walk joyously with Me through this day. Together we will savor the pleasures and endure the difficulties it brings.

Be on the lookout for everything I have prepared for you:

stunning scenery, bracing winds of adventure

cozy nooks for resting when you are weary, and much more. I am your Guide, as well as your constant Companion. I know every step of the journey ahead of you, all the way to heaven.

You don't have to choose between staying close to Me and staying on course. Since I am the Way, staying close to Me is staying on course. As you focus your thoughts on Me, I will guide you carefully along today's journey.

Don't worry about what is around the next bend.

Just concentrate on enjoying My Presence and staying in step with Me

  1. Good Morning Christy! I hope your trip went great!!!

This post.... Jesus telling us to stay in step with Him and enjoy His presence. Love this!

Your pictures are (as always) amazing. Makes me wish we could enjoy a walk together to photograph together.

Have a great day Friend! Hugs...

  2. Christy, I love these posts. I read from this devotional too but your pictures make it even more special.

    Have a wonderful day,

  3. Thank you! I am fairly new to your blog and as always I am encouraged by the truths you share but also by the beauty of your pictures. I look forward to your posts. Have a blessed day!

  4. Thank you for this beautiful post!

  5. The perfect post for me today. Thank you. I am reminded of God constantly, and I feel His presence more and more as I walk the path. Walking up my driveway, thinking about how hot it was, then feeling the fresh breeze...little moments like that tell me that He is near.

  6. Beautiful thoughts and beautiful words...Have a blessed day! :)

  7. Just love this and your photos... breathtaking. I miss being in blogland regularly! Perhaps as the summer wanes into fall things will slow a bit!

  8. Lovely photos!

I love Jesus Calling...just a quick suggestion - if I were you, I would be careful to include Sarah Young's name at the end of these posts and make it very clear that you are taking them from the book. I know you have the tag but it isn't super clear to the casual reader that these are not your words. I'm hyper sensitive to copyright so I just thought I'd pass this along.

Love the idea of putting the words to pictures...really brings it to life!
