What Matters Most...

I am spending some time away from my blog for the next week or so. I need to be giving my attention to some other things in my life right now.

Things like spending time with the One who is calling me to come...

Putting on my shoes and getting those runs and walks in again...

And spending time with the people who matter the most to me...

Show me your ways O LORD,
teach me your paths;
guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.

Psalm 25:4-5

  1. :( I will miss keeping up with you, so you had better shoot off an email or two. I understand, though. I can get lost in 'blogville' myself. Have a nice break!

  3. Although I will miss hearing about your days... praying that this time of "blog fasting" is glorious to our King. Enjoy your time focusing on Him and your family.

  7. Kim! I am still here...you and I can be BFF's with Christy off the radar! woot!

    Seriously, Christy, I get your need to take a break. The blog can be a time sucker.. good for you. I have been blogging for 4 years now, and I know how hard it is to keep up. I haven't touched my Xanga in well over a month.

    You have inspired me to spend more time in the word and get my running shoes out as well and take a walk :)

    ...oh, and of course spend more time with Miles..if I could ever get him to stay home long enough :)

  18. I discovered your blog today and I thank God that I did. I loved reading it. Now, I am going to have to be patient in your absence, until you feel caught up in life. I truly do understand. Thanks again for opening up your heart and life to those of us in the blog world.

  22. We miss you, but thanks for setting an example. I have felt the same nudging myself, but decided that if I want to blog, I need to get out of bed early in the morning to have my Quiet Time or no blogging.
    I have spent more time in the word, but my posts have definitely suffered...it's about priorities, and you HAVE THEM RIGHT!
