Believing....

Just wanted to let you know that I am still here... just in case you are wondering. I always wonder about all of you when it's been several days since you last posted. I just haven't had much to say here lately. I think it's one of those times that the things that are going on inside of me right now are just between me and the Lord. As I have shared before, I am beginning the Believing God bible study by Beth Moore again. I didn't realize until last week when I opened my book up from the last time, that it was actually five years ago when I did this study the first time. So much has changed since then and as I sat watching the first session I couldn't help but think about how I had no idea what was in store for me during that time. Of course I find myself asking, "Lord, what do you have in store for me this time? How are you going to teach me to exercise a much greater faith?"

So, that is where I am right now. Just thinking, praying, and processing some things. I am learning once again that faith and believing God go hand in hand. More than anything I want to be caught in the act of believing God.

Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
~Hebrews 11:6

  6. I read this earlier tonight, but Seth pulled me away before I could comment. I miss you when you're "gone," but I very much know where you are at.

And don't worry about me, or Sarah. I'm well enough to take care of her until you can get down here to "big sister" us both. ;)

  7. God is who He says He is!
God can do what He says He can do!
I am who God says I am!
I can do all things through Christ!
God's Word is alive and active in me!
I'M BELIEVING GOD! How often I repeat those words!

I have missed you... but knew you were silent for a reason. God does that sometimes doesn't He! I posted a thread last week on Thursday about my bloggy sisters starting studies... I prayed for you!
    Love you,
    K

PS: I was worried about Sarah and was so glad to see she posted today!

  8. Good to hear your heart again. That is such a great study - and I still find myself going back to the truths I learned in Believing God. In fact, I'm clinging to these very truths right now! And, the Lord is giving me His peace as I'm believing Him.

May He speak to you and do a mighty work in your heart through your second time through the study.

I have a prayer request on my blog tonight. It is tragic and if you have time to go look - please feel free to share as we need many prayer warriors flooding the gates of heaven.

    In His Grip,
