Last night, Jessica attended her Senior Homecoming...
This is Jessica's best friend, Morgan. When Jessica went to school the first day of her Freshman year, I began praying that God would bring into her life a best friend.
Little did I know, there was another mom who was praying the same thing for her daughter. Jessica and Morgan sat by each other in one of the classes the first day, and have been best friends ever since.
Such wonderfully amazing times, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful to see these pics of a radiant Jess and a beaming mom...
This weekend is Homecoming for us. Sarah is taking Trey. He's a grad of the same high school. He will soon be going back to college after a parent-imposed-semester-off to "get his head together". His father expects him (after being a "c" high school student) to be an "a/b" college student. But, I'm hoping his father (whom I have yet to meet) has realized he is so lucky to have this boy as his son.
Anyway...got off topic there.
Glad to see the migraine's appear to be easing. Sarah suffers from them, as well, and as she is growing older, they are becoming less and less. I pray that will be true for your sweet girl, as well.
Hugs and blessings! Susan
I, too, am glad that the migraines eased up so Jessica could enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime occasion. She looks radiant! I especially like the picture of you and her together.
ReplyDeleteI think the idea of going with a group of friends instead of a date is fantastic!

So sorry, Christy, obviously when I don't have time to blog myself, I don't have time to read blogs either :) Jessica and Morgan looked amazing, and you did an awesome job of capturing them with your camera lens. I too, wish that it had been cool to go dateless when I was in school. I never, ever went to a homecoming dance.
ReplyDeleteShe is absolutely beautiful! I hope she had a great time at her senior homecoming! I love this time of year for high schoolers...so many fun things to do!
