Today my son, Ben and I went to a local flower store. I love this store because they have incredible prices and the flowers are absolutely beautiful. Having fresh flowers in the house is just one of those special things I like to do every once in awhile. Here is what we got today...

What are some things you like to do to make your home special?
Fresh flowers, definitely top my list. Scented candles in every room. Giving my house, or at least the main level, a good cleaning with a good citrus smelling polish. Baking bread...nothing smells better than that!

ReplyDeleteIs the local flower shop The Flowerman by chance? I grew up between Dayton & Cincinnati and I know they are relatively close to Beavercreek. They did the flowers for my wedding and I loved their wholesale case. When I went for meetings I always thought that if I lived closer, I would be visiting frequently to get fresh flowers for my home! Like you, I love having some fresh blooms around. They just add a beauty and a cheer that nothing else compares to. :) I love to cut flowers from the yard to put around the house, but since we moved, we don't yet have any cutting bushes at our house. I've definitely missed having fresh flowers around this summer!!!
